You might be wondering why the new Final Fantasy logo looks choppy and poorly done, that’s because I made it, it was a five minute job, okay?!
This game hasn’t been announced but according to GameInformer (see here) it has been registered, which is pretty much as good as an announcement. Unless XIII-2 does really badly which I doubt, a lot of FF fans played XIII and found they hated it so they won’t be buying this one, but believe it or not it also recruited a ton of new fanboys, you’d be surprised how many people started with XIII and enjoyed it.
I’m pretty excited about this if its true, I know its kind of a big deal because this is a Final Fantasy game but I’m trying not to look at it like that, most games get two or more sequels, let’s just forget it’s an FF game and this is against the unwritten rules. I enjoyed XIII and I have to say XIII-2 looks kick-ass, Chrono Trigger time travelling is awesome as hell, the more info I have heard since its announcement the more optimistic I have been.
And I genuinely believe that the amount of info and detail that was put into XIII could generate two sequels, so this makes sense. Maybe we’ll finally recruit the guys from Nora? Maybe an entirely new cast of characters? Either way I’m excited and hope this turns out to be true, what do you think?

I really hope that there will be a XIII-3 'coz I'm a huge fan of XIII. I like its story and Battle System and also I heard humors that in the end of XIII-2 there is a "to be continue.." in it. So, we might be see a trilogy. I'm also looking forward for Versus XIII

I'm a huge fan of XIII too and XIII-2 looks amazing! I think XIII definitely has enough left over to generate two sequels, and Final Fantasy is always trying new things, so why not try a trilogy? :)
