I didn’t forget about the series after my recap back in April, I’ve watched almost every episode, so I thought I owe it to my blog to briefly summarise my feelings on it.
IT WAS OKAY.
I don’t really know what to say about it, it is what it is, very occasionally it was hilarious, but I’m a very busy student and if you can’t keep me entertained at all times I won’t be watching you for very long. The jokes were very odd, the good side of this is they were mostly unguessable, no easy “I know what is about to happen moments” but often these jokes just wouldn’t be funny enough to be worth it.
Unless you are totally bored and completely stumped for an anime to watch then don’t bother with this one. I’m very rarely negative on this blog but Nichijou was a big disappointment to me.
I just can’t wait until KyoAni’s next project, whatever it may be. LITTLEBUSTERS
